This years spring-summer disc golf season opening event takes place in Jõulumäe
yellow course on april 6-th. The event will be played in a new format and
everyone has a chance to win the event you just need a bit of skills and a
bit of luck!!!
Team Discsport presents: Opening event of the 2012 season in Jõulumäe yellow
course.
Time and place.
* 06.04.2012 Jõulumäe yellow disc golf course.
* Registration from 9.30-10.00. Tournament starts at 10.30.
Categories and prizes.
* There will be only one category for all players.
* 75% of the participation fees will be paid back to players of which 50% goes
to first place, 30% goes to second place and 20% goes to third place.
* Special award goes to the best female player.
Rules.
* All players follow PDGA rules.
* There will be two rounds in yellow discgolf course. The first round is
played with hybrid system, a mix of Ace Race format and basic disc golf
tournament play. If a player throws hole-in-one from the tee, he will have a
bonus -4 to the scorecard. If a player hits whatever part of the basket, he
will have bonus -2 to the scorecard. There will be alternative tees first
round, so that holes are between 40-70 metres. There will be 20 baskets in the
first round.
* Second round is played in normal yellow course (18 baskets with normal
tees).
* Before the second round, the groups are put together by first round scores.
* In lunchbreak there will be minimarker long distance throw competition.
* Player who throws most hole-in-ones, will be awarded with Prodiscus Jokeri
disc.
Information.
* Entry fee 4 EUR.
* In lunchbreak, there is a possibility to barbeque. Take the meat you want to
grill and drinks with you. Lunchbreak lasts for 1.5 hours.
