In order to consider the disc as out-of bounds, there must be reasonable evidence that the disc came to rest within the out-of-bounds area. In the absence of such evidence, the disc will be considered lost and the player will proceed according to rule 803.11B.
Musta jättää turhaa tulkinnanvaraa että mikä on "reasonable evidence". Lost disc
sääntö sen sijaan on aika yksiselitteinen. Jos ei löydy, niin lost disc. Ei ota kantaa OB:hen mitenkään.
Olis selkeempää jos tossa OB-säännössä lukis että "the disc must be
found to have come to rest completely surrounded by the out-of-bounds area. If the disc cannot be found, no matter how likely it is that it must have been lost in the out-of-bounds area, proceed according to rule 803.11B (lost disc)" tai jotain.
Vaikka sillon tietty OB-järveen heitetyt rankasis stroke+distance, mikä tietysti on aika rankkaa. Mut ei sinne tarvi heittää.
